Terms of Service

Last updated: September 3, 2026

These terms govern your use of Planneo. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Planneo.

Who can use Planneo

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country if higher, to use Planneo. By creating an account, you confirm you meet this requirement.

Your account and space

Signing up creates your own space automatically, with you as its admin. A space can have at most two participants, and each user can belong to only one space at a time.

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for the activity that happens under your account.

Inviting a partner

If your plan allows it, you can invite one person to join your space. Accepting an invite permanently deletes the invitee's existing solo space and everything in it — transactions, accounts, goals, and earmarks — because the two spaces' categories and plans can't be reconciled. We ask the invitee to confirm this explicitly before they accept.

The data you enter

You're responsible for the accuracy of the transactions, amounts, and other data you enter. Planneo is a tool to help you track and split shared finances — it doesn't verify your entries against your bank, and nothing in it is financial, tax, or legal advice.

Splitting a transaction only records who owes what inside Planneo; it doesn't move real money. Any actual payment between you and your partner happens outside the app.

Plans and pricing

Planneo currently offers a free plan and a pro plan. Some features, like inviting a second participant, require pro. We'll clearly disclose pricing and billing terms before we charge you for anything.

Acceptable use

Don't use Planneo to store data you don't have the right to share, to harass or abuse the other participant in your space, or to try to break, reverse-engineer, or overload the service.

Suspension and termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, or where we reasonably believe it's necessary to protect Planneo or its users.

Disclaimers

Planneo is provided "as is." We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we don't guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted, and we're not liable for decisions you make based on the data in the app.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law doesn't allow it, such as for our own fraud or gross negligence.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Planneo operates, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of the country where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Planneo evolves. We'll update the date above and, for material changes, let you know in the app.
